Forest E. Shull, 91, Pendleton, passed away Sunday, November 22, 2009, at Brandywine in Greenfield following five month illness.
He was born on April 16, 1918, in Hancock County, Indiana to George and Hattie (Kingery) Shull.
Forest retired from the former Delco Remy division of General Motors in Anderson after over 33 years of employment and then worked at Indiana Knitwear in Greenfield.
He is survived by three children, Loretta J. Scott of Fairmount, Rosemary Petersen of Frankton, and Dennis (wife, Ellen) Shull of Pendleton; one sister, Goldie (husband, Ed) Hallowell of Pendleton; fifteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Evelyn L. (Peters) Shull; one son, John Shull; and a brother, George Leslie Shull.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 am Wednesday, November 25, 2009, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Pastor Jerry Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm Tuesday, November 24, 2009, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.
