Fletcher A. Lamkin

Fletcher A. Lamkin, 72, of Anderson passed away September 28, 2020 at his home. He was born in Anderson on December 5, 1947, the son of the late Marvin and Ella (Kleinschmidt) Lamkin and lived here his entire life. He served in the US Army in Vietnam. He retired from Delco-Remy where he worked as a toolmaker. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion and VFW. Fletcher is survived by his wife, Amy Lamkin of Anderson; step-son, John (Kasey) Watson of Anderson; and step-grandchildren, Braxton and Brayden Watson. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Penny Lamkin; and step-daughter, Stefanie Watson. Funeral services will be held 12:00 pm Saturday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory. Burial will take place at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Due to COVID restrictions, the family asks that facemasks be worn at the funeral home.
