Felix Mudd, age 85, of West Lafayette and formerly of Anderson, passed away Monday, July 25, 2016 at University Place in West Lafayette after a brief illness.
He was born on June 1, 1931 in Fredericktown, KY to the late Bryan and Mary Aline (Brent) Mudd and lived most of his life in Anderson. He was a PFC in the U.S. Army.
Felix was owner and operator of Mudd’s Furniture and Mudd’s Self Storage in Anderson.
He is survived by his daughter, Louise A. Mudd of Layton, UT; two sons, Larry A. (wife, Kathi) Mudd of Chesterton, IN. and Leon A. Mudd of Anderson; five grandchildren, Jesse Mudd, David Mudd, Brenden Mudd, Baylor Mudd and Bridget Mudd.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bryan and Aline Mudd; wife, Rita Mudd and wife, Anne Donaldson; special aunt, Lettie Mudd and two brothers and two sisters.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 5, 2016 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Fr. Jeff Martin officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be 12:00-2:00 p.m. on Friday at the church with the Rosary at 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Cross School, Science Lab Fund.
