Faun Elaine Young

Faun Elaine Young, 72, Anderson, passed away Wednesday, December 9th, 2020, surrounded by her family following an extended illness.
She was born May 8th 1948, in Marion to Braxton David and Donna Lou (Elliott) Whitson.
Faun was a loving wife, mother and Mimi to all. She always made sure that everyone knew just how special they were to her: it was impossible to be near her and not know you were loved. She also loved gardening and kept beautiful flower beds.
She is survived by her husband, Darrell Young of Anderson; children, Darrell (Sonny) Young of Florida, Jeremy Young of Pendleton, Wendy (Bill) Swanson of Lapel; daughter-in-law Jennifer Young of Anderson. Siblings Linda (David) Herrington, Mike (Susan) French, Barbra (Earl) Shell, Kathie (Joe) Swan, Brenda (Brian) Marquis, Greg (Carolyn) Whitson, Sherri (Dale) Smith, James (Jill) Whitson, Gary (Liz) Whitson, Kay (Doug) Wilhoit, and Judi Turpin; grandchildren Blaise, Nikki, Laken, Logan, Will, Casey and Mason; great-granddaughter Khaleesi. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and loved being their Aunt Faun.
She was proceeded in death by her parents.
Private visitation and services will take place.
