Eva L. Foutz

Eva L. Foutz, 88, of Anderson, passed away March 10, 2016 at Edgewater Woods Nursing Home after a brief illness.

She was born on August 17, 1927 in Hymera, Indiana to the late Daniel and Lettie Mahan. She graduated from Hymera High School where she met her late husband, John Foutz and was married for 67 years. They lived most of their life in Greencastle before moving to Anderson in 2011

Eva was a member of the Tri Kappa Sorority and an active community volunteer.

She is survived by her son, Rick Foutz of Long Beach, CA; five grandchildren, Stephanie Aikin of Anderson, William Foutz of Indianpolis, Justin Foutz of Long Beach, CA. Alex J. Byers of Anderson and Nicole Foutz of Arizona; several great grandchildren; special niece, Shara (husband, Harry) Dougherty of Indianapolis; great niece, Amy Key and great nephew, Joe Arnold.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dan and Lettie Foutz; husband, John Foutz; daughter, Pamala Byers; grandson-in-law, John Aikin; sister, Margaret Coralee Bollinger and two brothers.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Forest Hill Cemetery in Greencastle with Rev. Mike Weber officiating.
