Ethel (Baxter) Snyder, 98, of Ingalls, Indiana passed away October 5, 2016 at her home.She was born July 30, 1918 in Cosby, Tennessee to the late Pless and Tishie (McGaha) Baxter.Ethel retired from General Motors in Anderson, Indiana in 1974 after 17 years service.She was a member of AMVETS Post Auxiliary 26 and American Legion Post Auxiliary 117 both in Pendleton, Indiana. She enjoyed dining out, playing bingo and going to the riverboat. Survivors include four grandchildren, Rusty L. (Martha) Parker of Fairfield, Ohio, Cindy L. Jones of Anderson, Cheri L. Poor of Pendleton and Brad A. (Danielle) Parker of Anderson; 12 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.Ethel was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dallas T. Snyder; and daughter, JoAnn Parker.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, October 14, 2016 at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, 211 E. State St., Pendleton, Indiana 46064 with Reverend Claude Creel officiating. Burial will follow in Grove Lawn Cemetery, Pendleton.Visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Friday, October 14, 2016 at Lahm Chapel.Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, P.O.
