Esther L. Knight

Esther L. Knight, 96, Anderson, passed away Thursday, August 8, 2019, at St. Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis following a extended illness.She was born on November 4, 1922, in Crawford County to Joseph and Ruth Pierson .She was a Homemaker. Esther enjoyed reading, traveling and gardening. She was also a member of the Rebekah Lodge IOOF of Anderson and Florida. She is survived by her children, Phyllis (Larry) Evans of Georgia, Paul (Teresa) Knight of Markleville, Don (Jill) Knight of Illinois, and Karen (Garry) Quattrocchi of Bargersville; 9 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and a great-great grandchild. Esther was also survived by many nieces and nephews. Esther was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lloyd Knight and 9 brothers and sisters.Visitation will be from 5pm to 7pm on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 N. Main St. Lapel, Indiana 46051. A private celebration of life will be held at her granddaughters home at a later date.
