Esther J. Oyler, 96, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at Keystone Woods. She was a long-time resident of Anderson. She was born May 20, 1923, in Centerville to the late Lee H. & Mable (Anderson) Pike. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. Esther enjoyed gardening and flowers. While at the nursing home she spent her time enjoying Bingo, games, and outings with the other residents. Esther is survived by her sons, David L. (wife, Judy) Bigham and Clinton “Terry” (wife, Joyce) Bigham; sister, Barbara Petty; 5 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Byron Oyler; daughter, Connie Lowe; sister, Virginia Patz; brothers, Troy & Charles Pike; brother-in-law, Charles Petty; and sister-in-law, Louann Pike. Memorial Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory with.Visitation will be from noon until the time of services. Burial will be at a later date in Mississinewa Memorial Cemetery.
