Enos B. Mullet

Enos B. Mullet, 99, of Lapel, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at his home following an extended illness.

He was born on June 19, 1925, in Nappanee, Indiana to Benedict D. and Fannie (Miller) Mullet. He was a self-employed carpenter.

He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Lapel. He was a life-long member of the Lapel Optimist Club and was also a member of the Lapel American Legion Post #212. He loved his family. He loved watching his grandson play sports. He also loved to hunt deer.

Enos is survived by his wife, Dorcas (Addison) Mullet; a son, Tony (wife, Karen) Mullet of Lapel; two grandchildren, Jeremiah (wife, Beth) Mullet of Lapel and Vicki Bowman of Lapel; three great-grandchildren, Breann, Maddox and Adra; a sister, Anna Miller; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; nine brothers and sisters; and his stepmother, Maddie Mullet.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, April 7, 2025, at Bozell Funeral Homes, Lapel Chapel, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel, Indiana 46051 with Pastor Jimmy Gilbert officiating. Burial will follow at Brookside Cemetery in Lapel with military graveside rites conducted by the Lapel American Legion Post #212.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
