Elva R. Maze, 86, formally of Anderson, passed away June 13, 2016 at Indiana Masonic Home in Franklin.
She was born Dec. 4, 1929 in Bremen, the daughter of Dewey and Letta (Spear) Smith. She was employed at Ft. Benjamin Harrison as a control clerk and retired in 1980. She was a member of the Eastern Star for over 50 years and enjoyed playing Bingo.
She is survived by her children, Cheryl Florea and Timothy (Joanne) Huntington; grandchildren, Maggie Kennedy, Emily Florea, John Florea, Melissa Howsare, Andy Leisure and Jason Leisure and two great grandchildren; brothers-in-law Edgar Huntington and Franklin Huntington.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Maze.
Services will be 2p.m. Monday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory with Rev. Joe Roysden officiating. Burial will be at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service with an Eastern Star service at 1:45 p.m.
