Elizabeth Irene Priest

Elizabeth Irene Noble Priest, 89, Anderson, passed away on August 5, 2021 at her residence. She was born on March 24, 1932 in Pendleton to the late Jesse and Maime (McQuillen) Noble. She graduated from Pendleton in 1951 and retired from Delco Remy in 1983 after 30 years of service. Elizabeth was a member of Cross Roads UMC; Worthy Matron of the Shirley Order of Eastern Star #154; past President of the Ladies Shrine Club, Past President of the Honor Ladies Club of Murat Shrine of Indianapolis, life member of the Disabled American Veteran’s Auxiliary, Altruistic Home Economics, Tour Chairman of Madison County Home Extension, Secretary Alpha Charter A.B.W.A., Women of the Year A.B.W.A. in 2003, Secretary of the Local UAW #662 retirees, Treasurer Oak St. Senior Citizens, Oak St. Senior Citizens Euchre Club, Anderson Kennel Club, Marion Kennel Club and Muncie Kennel Club. Elizabeth is survived by her two daughters, Kathy Pardue of Anderson; Robin (Wilbur) Smith of Anderson; grandchildren, Summer Arnold, Bryan Pardue, Daniel (Crystal) Roy, Rachel Roy, Jesse Roy; seven great grand -children; special nieces Donna (Russell) Wagoner, Linda (Frank) West and Me Me, her Pug. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Robert Sparks; second husband, John Priest; siblings, Nellie, Helen, Virgil, Nettie (Dawson) Noble, Fred, Jesse, Charles; two half- brothers, Norman and Jimmie Noble; grandson, Jesse Roy and best friend, Robert Hoover. Services will be held on Tuesday at 12:00 pm at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, IN 46013 with Pastor Rick Jones officiating. Burial will be at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the funeral home.
