Elizabeth Ann Foiles

Elizabeth Ann "Libby" Foiles, 75, of Lapel, passed away September 6, 2024, at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis following an extended illness. 

She was born on March 1, 1949, in Noblesville, Indiana to Herbert L. and Flossie M. (Giddings) Moore. She attended Lapel High School.

She worked hard most of her life, working 27 years at Brookside Corporation and retiring from Ford Motor Company after 10 years of employment. 

She found her spiritual home at the River Church where she loved her church family She was a member of the Lapel Eagles Aerie #4323 Ladies Auxiliary. She was an avid bingo player. She enjoyed crocheting for the grandchildren and was a fabulous cook. She was happiest surrounded by her family, whether at a birthday party, movie nights with her daughters or enjoying Thanksgiving dinners.

Elizabeth is survived by three daughters, Vickie (Brian) Miller, Tina Perkins and Laurie (Aaron) Riffey; two brothers, Herbert Moore and Eddie (Becky) Moore; a sister-in-law, Nancy (Ray) Gomez; nine grandchildren, Amanda (Kyle) Rasnake, Brianna (Phoenix) Mills, Brandi (Landon) Alberts, Annie Perkins (fiance, Nick), Elizabeth Perkins, Riley (Maloree) Riffey, Madelyn (Jacob) Green, Keegan Riffey and Grayson Riffey; seven great-grandchildren, Matthew, Brooklyn, Charli Kate, Wyatt, Lilah, Hezekiah and Jack; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband whom she married August 14, 1966, Larry C. Foiles; her parents; and a sister, Sharon Smith. 

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, September 16, 2024, at Bozell Funeral Homes, Lapel Chapel, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel, Indiana 46051 with Aaron Riffey officiating. Burial will follow at Brookside Cemetery in Lapel. 

Visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Sunday, September 15, 2024, and 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
