Elisabeth Wright

Elisabeth (Stamm) Wright, 83, of Anderson passed away on February 28, 2021 at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Anderson. Elisabeth was born on August 4, 1937 in Wiesbaden, Germany to Otto and Elisabeth (Backoff) Stamm. On July 4, 1964, Elisabeth married her love, Elvin J. “Wayne” Wright, and they began their life together. Elisabeth provided a loving home for her husband and children. She was also a devoted member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Elisabeth is survived by her loving husband, Elvin J. “Wayne” Wright; children: Klaus (Sandy) Leitem, Michael (Deborah) Leitem, daughter, Christina (Jason) Hubbard; grandchildren: Nickolaus Leitem, Annie Saylor, Christopher, Paul, Kelly and Eric Leitem, Boyce Hubbard; five great grandchildren; brother and sisters-in-law: Sherell “Buck” (Kay) Wright and Jerry (Kathy) Wright. Elisabeth was preceded in death by her parents and four sisters. The family of Elisabeth held private funeral services for their wife, mother, and grandmother. Entombment took place in East Maplewood Cemetery. Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory assisted the family with the funeral arrangements.
