Edward Fred Bowers

ANDERSON- Edward Fred Bowers, 80, of Anderson, passed away December 29, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital Anderson. He was born July 30, 1937 in Peoria Illinois to the late Fred and Mayme (Pierson) Bowers. Edward was the owner of Tower Studio of Indianapolis for over 40 years. He was involved in filming for the Indianapolis 500 for over 30 years, and worked with Walt Disney, NCAA, NFL films, and the Chicago Bears. His favorite past time was boating. Edward is survived by his children, Terry Bowers of Greenwood, Tresa (Eric) Hall of Anderson, Tim (Angela) Bowers of Anderson; grandchildren, Aaron Bowers, Nichole Hall Green, Brandon Bowers, John Bowers, William (Kazanna) Bowers; seven great grandchildren; sister, Norma Northway; long -time friend, Frank Dietz, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his wife, Elizabeth Bowers. Services will be at 11:00 am Thursday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, IN 46013. Burial will be at East Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
