Edward Lee Carroll, 86, of Anderson passed away on September 28, 2024. Lee was born on August 27, 1938 in Frankton, IN to the late Hershel and Elsie (Weaver) Carroll. He graduated from Alexandria Monroe High School in 1956. He was a lifelong toolmaker serving for 50 years at Miracle Tool and Gauge. He also served in the National Guard for 12 years. Lee found his spiritual home at The Lutheran Church of Our Blessed Savior and was a faithful member for many years. He was a little league coach and was the past president of the Meadowbrook Little League.
Lee will be dearly missed by his children, Marta (Steven) Holcomb, Mitchell (Paula) Carroll, and Melissa "Missy" Morris-Abshire; nine grandchildren, Zach Holcomb, Kayla (Lance) Schnaus, Kimberly (Rick) Ferguson, Chase (Kara Kowalczyk) Carroll, Chelsea Carroll, Chandler (Lexi) Carroll, Adam (Sara) Morris, Abram Morris, and Alexa (Graham) Hopkins; several great-grandchildren; sister, Cheryl Carroll; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Carolyn (Bell) Carroll; second wife, Janice Carroll; and four siblings.
The visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at Bozell Funeral Homes-Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, 46013. The funeral ceremony will be at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial Contributions in Lee's name may be gifted to The Lutheran Church of Our Blessed Savior.
