Edward Boltz Williams

Edward B. Williams, 83, of Anderson, passed away on January 17, 2021 at his residence. He was born on March 31, 1937 in Tremont, Pennsylvania to the late Joseph and Verna (Boltz) Williams. Edward was an Anderson Firefighter for 31 years retiring in 1992. He was a member of the Anderson Firefighter Local 1262, Indiana Firefighter Association and the International Firefighters Association. He is survived by his children, Kenneth (Angie) Williams of Anderson, Mary Jo (Tom) Jones of Gurnee, Illinois, Debra (David) Wilbur of Anderson, Robert (Mary) Williams of Texas; grandchildren, Jamie (Joey) Hill, Jennifer Williams, Emily Williams, Tommy Jones, Andy Jones, Katie Wilbur, Kymberlie Wilbur, Corinne Shaffer, Zachary Shaffer; great grandchildren, Brock Hill, Zayden Troutman, Kennley Williams, Liam Moore; sister in-law, Nancy Cappel and several nieces and nephews. Edward was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Kathryn Williams; daughter, Bonnie Lee Shaffer; brothers, Richard Williams, Charles Williams, Russ Williams; sister, Rita Mason and brother in-law, Herb Cappel. Services will be on Saturday at 1:00 pm at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, IN 46013 with Pastor Tim Bailey officiating. Burial will be at East Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Due to the COVID-19 mandates, all guests are required to wear face coverings or masks and practice social distancing at visitation and services.
