Edna Mae Lemay

Edna Mae Lemay, 81, Lapel, passed away Friday, July 7, 2006, at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville following a brief illness.
She was born on April 24, 1925, in Carterville, Illinois to Roy and Linda (Upchurch) Suver.
She was a member of the Jolieteville First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, David Lemay; six children, Margaret Daugherty of Lapel, Michael A. (wife, Carol) Walker of Fountain Hills, AZ, Lou Ella Merritt of Sommerset, KY, Jean (husband, Gerry) Conner of Lake Mary, FL, Brenda (husband, Larry) Merritt of Sommerset, KY, and Barbara (husband, Bruce) Lamaster of Lapel; twenty-three grandchildren; forty-one great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Oral Walker, Jr.; a daughter, Patricia June Walker; and two grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Brother James Lemay officiating. Burial will be at the Brookside Cemetery in Lapel.
