Earl D. Lamb, 81, of North Vernon, formerly of Pendleton, passed away on August 16, 2018 at Schneck Medical Center, Seymour, Indiana. He was born on February 17, 1937 in Springport to the late Ward and Ida (Brown) Lamb.Earl was employed at Delco Remy as a Mechanical Engineer, retiring after 38 years of service. He was a member of Pendleton Christian Church.He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Barbara (Wolf) Lamb of North Vernon; children, Richard (Carol) Lamb of Zionsville, James (Fay) Lamb of Sydney, Australia, Douglas (Linda) Lamb of Fairland, Susan (Tom) Mathews of Pendleton; 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; sister, Martha Minnick, and several nieces and nephews.Earl was preceded in death by a brother, Kendall Lamb.The family would like to thank the Schneck Hospice Care for all of their love and care.Services will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 pm at Wilson St. Pierre Lahm Chapel, 211 State St., Pendleton, Indiana 46064, with Pastor Michael Canada officiating. Burial will be at Grovelawn Cemetery, Pendleton.Visitation will be on Tuesday from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at the funeral home.Memorial Contributions may be made to Indiana Parks Alliance at www.indianaparksalliance.org.
