Douglas Lee Mingle

Douglas Lee Mingle, 70, of Michigan City, Indiana passed away January 30, 2017 at his home.He was born January 5, 1947 in Anderson, Indiana and was a Pendleton resident before moving to Michigan City.Douglas retired from the Indiana State Department of Corrections as a corrections officer.He was a 1966 graduate of Pendleton High School and attended Indiana State University.Douglas was a US Air Force veteran.Survivors include his three children, David Mingle, Heather Mingle and Darian Mingle; sisters, Linda (Gene) Burtron, Deborah (Phil) Hagan and Jennifer (Virgil) Mabrey; two grandchildren, Aubrie Williams and Cameron Lee Mingle; and several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Hugh F. and Betty I. (Luellen) Mingle, DVM; and a sister, Judy Geoffrey.Cremation was selected with burial in Mendon Cemetery, Pendleton, Indiana.
