Dorothy S. Cookman

Dorothy S. (Smith) Cookman, 91, of Anderson, passed away on October 15, 2019 at IU Health Saxony Hospital, Fishers. She was born in Anderson on November 14, 1927 to the late Basil and Mabel (Keller) Smith. Dorothy retired from St. John’s Hospital in 1991 having worked in medical records. She was a member of First Church of the Nazerene in Anderson. She is survived by her children, Bryan Cookman of Anderson, Beth (Fred) Glynn of Carmel; grandchildren, Jama (Ryan) Ott of Pendleton, Jayda Glynn of Carmel; great grandchildren, Keira and Gabriella Ott. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald Cookman. Services will be on Saturday at 12:00 pm at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, IN 46013. Burial will be at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to Susan G.
