Dorothy Mae Martin

New Castle – Dorothy Mae Martin, 89, passed away on December 28, 2017. She was born in Kendallville, Indiana on May 22, 1928 to the late Hilbert and Grace (Neihaus) Weisheit. Dorothy worked in farming all her life. She was a member of the Greensboro Eastern Star for 68 years. She loved her grandchildren, great grandchildren and farming. Dorothy is survived by her children; Jake (Teri) Martin of New Castle, Nora (Jamie) Maxwell of Knightstown, Tom (Tina) Martin of Crawfordsville; grandchildren; JR (Shelia) Martin, Michele (Joe) Davis, Tomi (Todd) White, Tim(Jenna) Maxwell, Douglas (Brooke) Martin, Daniel Martin, David (Hannah) Martin; great-grandchildren; Lucy and Annibelle Davis, Faith, Catherine, and Robert Martin, Danica and Zane White, Brianna Page, Danielle and Emily Martin, Felix Martin; brother Russell Weisheit; sister, Marian Allen; sister in-law, Lana Martin. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. She was preceded by her husband of 55 years, Robert Allen Martin, brother in-law, Clayton Martin; sister in-law, Alma Wickard. Services will be on Tuesday at 11:00 am at Condo & St. Pierre Funeral Service, 130 S. Main St., Wilkinson, IN 46186. Entombment will be at Glen Cove Cemetery, Knightstown. Friends may call on Monday from 2:00 to 6:00 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s choice.
