Dorothy Louise (Stokes) Humphrey, 89, of Pendleton passed away on January 1, 2021 at Millers Merry Manor in Chesterfield. Dorothy was born on January 25, 1931 in Fair Oaks, Arkansas to Henry and Lennie (Ross) Stokes. On December 24, 1949 she married her husband Floyd W. Humphrey, and they began their family. Dorothy was a member of the Rolfe Assembly of God in Fair Oaks, Arkansas. She retired from X-Cello-O in Pendleton.Dorothy is survived by her children: Jim (Angie) Humphrey, Kenny (Beth) Humphrey and Sue Hughes, all of Pendleton, son, Mike (Linda) Humphrey of Colfax; son-in-law, Randy Brigman of Ingalls; honorary son, Calvin Hardesty; sixteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren; brothers: Freddie (Muriel) Stokes of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Cecil (Debbie) Stokes of Arcadia; sister, Faye Canady of Searcy, Arkansas; several nieces and nephews. Dorothy was preceded in death by her: husband, Floyd in 2005, daughter, Karen Brigman in 2015, son-in-law, Don Hughes in 2019, as well as four sisters, three brothers, one grandson and two great grandsons.A private graveside service will be held for the family at Grove Lawn Cemetery. Masks and social distancing will be required. Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory Lahm Chapel is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
