Dorothy “Dotti” Mace Graves, 87, of Anderson, crossed over to the other side peacefully, September 25, 2019, following an extended illness. She was born, January 25, 1932, in Scranton, Pennsylvania, to the late Louis Jones and Dorothy Mace. Dotti volunteered many years at St. Vincent’s hospital in Indianapolis. She was a long time member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Anderson. She loved to sing and her spirit brightened the lives of many people. The angelic choir in heaven now has a new member. She is survived by her sons, David (wife Tina) Mace, Blair (wife Deanne) Mace, five grandchildren, John Mace, Kiersten (husband Landon) Dalton, Jessica Mace, Amber Mace, and Valorie Mace; 8 great-grandchildren, Nicholas Lambert, Mace Lambert, Kailyn Morgan, Elijah Morgan Amaiyah Morgan, Eloise Van Hoeck, Jude Parks, and Elle Dalton; and great-great-grandson Kaydence Morgan. She was preceded in death by her friend, Charles Swinford. A funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Trinity Episcopal Church, with Bishop William Smalley officiating. Burial will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory is honored to assist Dotti’s family.
