Doris K. Crippen

Doris K. (Mercer) Crippen, 57, of Pendleton, passed away unexpectedly at Ascension St. Vincent Anderson Hospital on November 20, 2023.

Doris was born December 14, 1965 in Anderson, Indiana and was a lifelong Pendleton resident.

She was a 1984 graduate of Pendleton Heights High School. Doris was a homemaker and enjoyed birdwatching, nature and especially watching her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Fred Crippen; son, Kyle Morse of Pendleton; three grandchildren, Rosalina Morse, Jack Morse and Owen Morse; and a half-brother, David Rash of Auburn.

Doris was preceded in death by her dad, Max D. Mercer.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, Pendleton led by Pastor Scott Taylor.

Visitation from 12 to 2 p.m., Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at Lahm Chapel, Pendleton.
