Doris “Jane” (Kellum) Frazee, 86, of Pendleton, Indiana passed away Sept. 4, 2017 at St. Vincent Anderson Hospital. She was born Oct. 31, 1930 in Shirley, Indiana to John W. and Gladys (Markle) Kellum and was a Pendleton resident since 1951.Jane was a 1948 graduate of Wilkinson High School as well as Beauty College and was a past member of the former New Life Wesleyan Church. She enjoyed painting but most especially time spent with her family. For over 25 years she and her husband enjoyed staying at Fort Myers Beach, Florida with family and friends.She was a self-employed beautician for over 30 years.Survivors include son, Jay W. (Marcie) Frazee of Anderson; grandchildren, Chad (Renee) Colip, Staci (Willie) Rigdon, Anna (Kyle) Hopkins, Saundra Frazee and Benjamin Frazee; six great grandchildren; son-in-law, Greg Colip; sister, Donna (Richard) Thomas of Shirley; and several nieces and nephews including special nieces, Karla Bingaman and Becky Watson who helped provide her care. Jane was preceded in death by parents; husband, James William Frazee whom she married March 24, 1951; daughter, Jenni Su Colip; and siblings, Byron Kellum, Genevieve Marshall, June Kellum, Frances Brummitt and Nora Crosley.Services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 9, 2017 at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, 211 E. State St., Pendleton, Indiana 46064 with Pastor Paul Blair officiating. Burial will follow in Mechanicsburg Cemetery.Visitation from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday at Lahm Chapel, Pendleton.Memorial contributions are requested to Madison County Little Red Door Cancer Services, 2020 Meridian St., Suite 120, Anderson, IN 46016.
