Doris G. Neese

Doris G. Neese, 83, Perkinsville, passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2006, at Our House Assisted Living in Merritt Island, Florida.
She was born on March 30, 1923, in Lapel, Indiana to Ner and Iva (Shaw) Teeters.
Doris was a member of the Perkinsville Community Church where she was a Sunday school teacher for several years. She was also a member of the Rural Youth, the Prairie Farmerettes and the Lapel Jubilee Chorus.
She is survived by two daughters, Joyce Ann Newlin of Titusville, FL, and Janet Graham of Perkinsville; five grandchildren, Rebecca Smith, Greg Newlin, Matthew McGuire, Casey Graham, and Kylie Graham; three great-grandchildren, Desiree Newlin, Sarah Smith, and Caleb Newlin; one sister, Phyllis (husband, John) Fatzinger of Pendleton; and one brother, Belford (wife, Betty) Teeters of Holland, MI.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Neese in 2001.
Services will be held at 10:00 am Sunday, May 21, 2006, at Perkinsville Community Church with Rev. Mark Aleshire officiating. Burial will follow at the Neese Cemetery near Perkinsville.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm Saturday, May 20, 2006, at the Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Perkinsville Community Church Scholarship Fund, 2783 North Washington Street, Anderson,Indiana 46011.
