Donna Lou Sanders

Donna Lou Stone Sanders, 60, of Anderson passed away May 28th, 2021, at Community Hospital of Anderson after a brief illness. Donna was born September 22, 1960, in Anderson, to Robert Stone,Sr. and Thelma Stone and was a lifelong Anderson resident. Donna graduated from Anderson Highschool and was a server for many years at Redbrick Inn and worked for GM. She was a member of the Anderson Eagles Lodge and VFW. Donna enjoyed going up north to camp and relax with her family, caring for her loved ones and going to the beach. She is survived by three children, Jerri (Gary) Armstrong, Donna Agnew and Olivia Butler; Stepchildren, Tina and Jerrica Sanders; niece, Amanda (Kirk) Ritenour grandchildren, Jerry Armstrong, Hazel Armstrong, Ari Stone, Jay Stone, Jetayvion Agnew, Jekyrea Agnew; siblings, Bobby Stone, Jimmy Stone, Marty Stone, Patrick (Deanna) Stone, Jacob Maxwell, Juanita (Tim) Bynum, Penny Maxwell, Edward Hatter, Billy Franklin, Belinda (Gary) Clark, Brenda Franklin, Becky Franklin and Barbie Franklin; nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Stone, Candy Stone, Julie Smith, Justin Zachary, Josh (Amanda) Dent, Shannon (Josh) Moody, Stephanie (Jake) Mapzenbacher, Johnny (Shelby) Stone, Dylan (Breanna) Stone, Cole Stone, Christa Clore, Robert (Sabrina) Clore, David Berry, Troy (Crystal) Davis and Eddie Hatter; and several very loved great nieces and nephews; several aunts, uncles and cousins; special lifelong friends Melanie Dent, Sandy Stone, Betty Rector and daughters. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Sanders; father, Robert Stone Sr.; mother, Thelma Stone; brother, John Stone and Buddy Franklin; niece, Lisa Sparkman; nephews, Shane Maxwell and Jesse Stone. Funeral services to celebrate Donna’s life will be at 12:00 PM on Saturday June 12, 2021 at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory. Burial will follow in Anderson Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until the time of the service Saturday at the funeral home.
