Donna J. Soverns

Donna J. Soverns, 71, Pendleton, passed away Sunday in the arms of her children.
She was born on February 14, 1947, in Anderson to Harry and Dorothy (Boden) Bolender.
Donna was graduated from Lapel High School in 1965.
Donna coached little league baseball and girls softball in Lapel when her children were involved. She loved to sew, cook and do crafts.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Charles; five children, Charlie, Chris (Robin), Clay (Latisha), Dana Turley, and Sherry Rector; six grandchildren, Desmond (Samantha), Morgan, Torey (John), Spencer, (Sara), Emma, and Clarissa; two great-grandchildren, Ashlyn, and Berkley; and her twin sister, Darla Bragg.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents; and one granddaughter, Ashley.
A memorial service will be held at 8:00 PM on Friday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society; the American Heart Association; or the American Kidney Foundation.
