Donna F. Herbert

Donna F. Herbert, 95, formerly of Anderson, passed away at McCall’s Hospice House in Simpsonville, South Carolina She was born February 23, 1925 in Anderson, the daughter of the late Harry and Margaret (Robertson) Ellis. Donna retired from the Anderson Herald Bulletin in 1996 after years of working in the circulation department. She was a member of St. Matthew United Methodist Church. Donna is survived by her children, James Herbert and Jessie Herbert-Bays; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James “Bud” Herbert; son, David Herbert; and three daughters, Enola Watson, Judy Sachen and Margaret Reno. Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
