Donitra Lynn Gray

Donitra Lynn Gray, 45, of Pendleton, passed unexpectedly at her residence. She was born February 11, 1978 in Mt. Vernon, Ohio.
She loved her family and friends and capturing their special moments as a professional photographer. Donitra is survived by her husband, Jason, whom she married April 9, 2011. Parents, Darrell and Debbie Tomlin and Phyllis (Thompson) and Harold Carter. They brought together sons, Torrin Messer (Felicia Balderrama) of Indianapolis, Collin Messer (Brandon Clevenger) of Anderson, Jason Gray and Jacob Gray, both of Anderson; and Daughters, Kierstin Messer (Jace Longere) of Carmel, and Alivia Gray of Pendleton. She is also survived by her parents; Brother, Steven Tomlin of Shelbyville; Sister, Wendy Tomlin of Connersville; Sister-in-Law, Staci Gray-Allen (Adam Allen) with children Hudson and Finley Allen, all of Lafayette; and special friend, Heaven Conner.
Donitra was preceded in death by a son, Ian Gavin Messer; Sister, Christina Tomlin; and Mother-in-Law, Carol Gray.
There will be a visitation on Friday, June 16, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. with a funeral service beginning at 4:00 p.m. at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Lahm Chapel, 211 E State St, Pendleton, IN 46064. Pastor Paul Werling will officiate the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for all memorial contributions in Donitra’s name to be gifted to the Pendleton Friends for Paws.
