Donald R. Donnie Jarvis

Donald R. Jarvis, 44, Anderson, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2011, at Saint John's Health System in Anderson following an extended illness.
He was born on September 25, 1966, in Anderson, Indiana to Billy and Betty (Malone) Jarvis.
Donnie was employed for the last fourteen years by Mermaid Pool and Spa in Anderson and he loved his job as a pool tech.
He attended Central Community Chapel in Anderson. He was a sports enthusiast and was especially fond of the Indianapolis Colts.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy Jarvis; two children, Josh Wellman of Hawaii and Matthew Hallam of Anderson; his father and step-mother, Bill and Debbie Jarvis of Lapel; his mother, Betty Schwartz of Anderson; three step-children, Trishika, Jessika, and Justin Hensley of Anderson; brothers and sister, Ronald T. Jarvis, Billy L. Jarvis, Aaron L. (wife, Suzanne) Jarvis, and Barbara Ann (husband, Kevin) Parkhurst all of Anderson; and several grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by brother and sister, Darrell and Dana Jarvis.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, September 2, 2011, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Pastor Richard Gregg officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Lapel.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am to 11:00 am Friday, September 2, 2011, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.
