Donald Earl Rigney

Donald Earl Rigney, 78, of Greenfield, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2017, at his residence. He was born December 16, 1938 in Shirley, the son of the late Dallas Woodrow and Elva Lucile Rigney. Donald was a graduate of Wilkinson High School Class of 1956, and proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He retired from Western Electric after 41 years of service as a photographer. He attended the Shirley United Methodist Church, was a member of the Shirley Masonic Lodge #531 and a member of the telephone pioneers. Survivors include son; Craig Rigney of Greenfield, stepson; Jarrod (Janet) Beeson of Greenfield, three granddaughters; Emily Rigney, Katie Rigney, Lily Beeson, cousins; Marcia Fettinger, Vicki Pugh, Billy Pugh. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife; Georgeanna Condo Rigney in 1972, sister; Barbara Sitton, and cousin Patty McCracken. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at 11:00 am, at Condo & St. Pierre Funeral Service in Wilkinson with Pastor Ben Dilworth officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday, November 6th from 4:00 to 8:00 pm
