Donald E. Raison, 84, Lapel, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2020, at his residence in Lapel, following an extended illness.He was born on November 30, 1935, in Anderson, to William Raison and Maxine (Dove) Raison.Donald attended Anderson Community Schools.He was a Heavy Equipment Operator in the mining business. Donald also worked part time on lawnmowers. He is survived by three children, Connie (Harry) Bennett of Markle, Deddie (Ron) Morse of Anderson, Donald V. (Donna) Raison of Ingalls; one sister, Sharon Huff of Daleville; twelve grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.Donald was preceded in death by his parents; wifes, Reatha, Shirley, and Shirley; and three sisters.A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, July 17, 2020, at Hersberger-Bozell Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel, Indiana with Rev. Gary Klinger officiating. Burial will follow in Vinson Cemetery, Summitville.Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home on Friday.The Hersberger-Bozell family and staff are honored to serve and care for the Raison family.
