Dolores L. Mclaughlin

Dolores L. McLaughlin, 88, Anderson, passed away July 22, 2017, at White Oak Health Campus in Monticello after an extended illness. She was born April 18, 1929, in New Albany, the daughter of the late George and Katherine (Reisert) Loweth. After High School and Business College, Dolores married Gayne R. McLaughlin in 1951 and they moved to Anderson in 1952. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Two Bridge Clubs, Edgewood Country Club and a past member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She is survived by her two sons, Dr. Carey B. (Karen) McLaughlin of Anderson and Jay D. (Mary) McLaughlin of Idaville; three grandchildren, Brion A. (Elizabeth) McLaughlin, Chad R. McLaughlin, Briana B. (John) Vieke; two great grandchildren, Emma and Noah and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, Gayne R. “Mac” McLaughlin in 2002. Service will be at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory with Steve Wigger officiating. Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery.
