Dixie Dianna Carpenter

Dixie Carpenter, 79, of Yorktown, passed away August 10, 2022. She was born August 27, 1942 to the late Odie and Theda (Edwards) Phillips in Liberty, Kentucky.

She retired from BorgWarner after 30 years of service.

She is survived by her daughter, Jama Jacobs, sister Anita Jenkins, sister-in-law Shirley Phillips, and several nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brothers Jay and Jack Phillips; and sister, Phyllis Harless.

The family would like to thank U.S. Renal Care and Yorktown Manor for all of their loving care.

Services will be Tuesday August 16, 2022 at 12pm at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, 515 E. 53rd St, Anderson, IN 46013. With burial to follow at Anderson Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 10am to 12pm at the funeral home.

Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Jude.org.
