Dennis B. Robinette

Dennis B. Robinette, 64, Murfreesboro, TN passed away Saturday, June 19, 2010, at Alive Hospice Residence in Nashville following an eight month illness.
He was born on September 23, 1945, in Anderson, Indiana to Bayard and Juanita (VanBriggle) Robinette.
He graduated from Lapel High School in 1963.
Dennis retired from the former Guide Lamp Division of General Motors in Anderson after over 30 years employment.
He had owned coin laundrys in Alexandria and Elwood and enjoyed boating and fishing
He is survived by two sons, Ken (wife, Sheila) Robinette of Murfreesboro, TN, and Jeff (wife, Jenny) Robinette of Noblesville; five grandchildren, Libby, Emma, Michael, Abigail, and Bryson Robinette; one sister, Deanne Goforth of Bradenton, FL; two nephews, Scott and Eric Robinette; one niece, Denise Goforth.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Larry Robinette.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 am Wednesday, June 23, 2010, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Pastor Dawn Cuthbert officiating. Burial will follow in Elwood City Cemetery, Elwood.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday, June 22, 2010, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.
