Demetria Ann Weaver

Demetria Ann Weaver, 78, of Anderson, left quietly to be with her Mom & Dad and her Heavenly Father on December 19, 2015, at Community Hospital Anderson after an extended illness.

She was born January 6, 1937 in Anderson, to the late Russell Earl and Mary Alice (Headlee) Walker and she lived in Anderson her entire life.

Demetria was a homemaker and, for many years, was a crossing guard for Anderson Community Schools. Her family and friends were her greatest joy, along with her four-legged “babies”. She also loved Elvis and enjoyed eating at Frisch’s. She loved to laugh and she will truly be missed by all of her family.

She is survived by her three children, Diana Kidd, Russell (Bonny) Weaver and Danny (Melinda) Weaver, all of Anderson; grandchildren, Christopher and Kimberly Kidd and Mickey Ray and Mary Alice Weaver; sister Rebecca (Bernard) Bruns of Anderson; special friend, Donald Lawson; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Russell Walker, Jr; and granddaughter, Deanna Kidd.

A private family visitation will take place at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory.
