Dellarose Stohler Gustin

Former Anderson resident, Dellarose Stohler Gustin, 83, Bucyrus, Ohio passed away Monday, October 13, 2014, at Maplecrest in Bucyrus following A BRIEF ILLNESS. She was born on August 19, 1931, in Alliance, Indiana to Paul and Audrey (Ridgeway) Stohler. She graduated from Markleville High School in 1949 and received an associate's degree from I. U. P. U. I. in 1981. Dellarose retired from the former Brockway Glass Company in Lapel and then had substitute taught at Lapel Schools. After college she managed the Edgewood Country Club and Laughner's Cafeteria. She was a member of the Saint John's Lutheran Church in Anderson and she golfed at Grandview Golf Course until moving to Ohio. She is survived by three children, Elizabeth Jo (husband, Dave) Smith of Galion, OH, Edith Ann (husband, Bruce) Day of Michigantown, and Paul (wife, Kim) Gustin, Markleville; one daughter-in-law, Trish Gustin Everman of Anderson; eleven grandchildren, Luke (wife, Sarah), Adam (wife, Katie,) and Caleb (Tina) Smith, Brittany and Blake Day, Mikah (husband, Darrin) Wilson, Matthew (Jennifer) Gustin, Amy (husband, Bryan) Seeko and Christian (wife, Andrea), Lucas (wife, Danielle) and Jacob (wife, Tara) Gustin; sixteen great-grandchildren, Jordyn, Kelsey, Amanda, Jaylan, Rudy, Trinton, Darl, Abigail, Madelynn, Bo, Dawson, London, Elan, Daxton, Casen, and Isabelle; two sisters, Grace (husband, H.) Markle, and Faith (husband, Jim) Burmeister; one brother, David (wife, Judy) Stohler; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Robert Glen Gustin; one brother, Phillip Stohler; and one sister, Paula Nugent. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, November 15, 2014, at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Ovid.
