Delenia Love (Wagner) Scott, 70, Pendleton, has gone to be with her heavenly Father, dear friends and family, Sunday, November 6, 2011, at Rawlins House in Pendleton following an extended illness. She was born on September 4, 1941, in Anderson, Indiana to Warren and Neellenia (Bennett) Wagner. She graduated from Great Commission School in Anderson, Ind., and retired from Village Pantry as a certified baker. Delenia was a member of Mount Gilead United Methodist Church and the Mount Gilead Ladies Circle. She is survived by one daughter, Amanda (husband, Jeffrey) Parker of Pendleton; one extra special grandson, Trenton Parker; one son, Robert E. Scott of Pendleton; and five special exchangae student grandchildren from Germany and Ghana; six cousins, Sam Leslie, Pat (husband, Vance) Justice, Brenda (husband, Tom) Huston, Melvin Bennett, David Bennett, and Dale Bennett; and two brothers, Jeff and Von Wagner both of Phoenix, AZ. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Bessie L. Bennett; her parents; her aunt, Mary (Bennett) Leslie; her cousins, Paul Leslie and Wanda (Leslie) Ancil; two brothers, Warren F. Wagner and Glenn W. Wagner; and two sisters, Galenia and Gelenia Wagner. Graveside will be held at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, November 9, 2011, at Grovelawn Cemetery in Pendleton with Pastor Jay Harvey officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday, November 8, 2011, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel. The family would like to share their appreciation to all the staff at Rawlins's and Seasons Hospice for taking such good care of Delenia as she stayed with you and became a part of your family!
