Deborah Ann Hefner Robinson, known to many as Debbie, passed away peacefully, leaving a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories. Born on January 13, 1953, in Winfield, Alabama, Debbie brought joy and warmth to everyone she met.
Debbie married the love of her life, David Robinson, on November 27, 1974, after being introduced on a blind date arranged by their dear friends, Joe and Cathy. Together, they found their greatest happiness enjoying their houseboat on Dale Hollow Lake, where they spent five decades of happiness together.
Debbie was the daughter of Sally Williams Hefner and Gilbert Hefner. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Michael Hefner. She is survived by her sister, Lisa Seibers (Keith), and her nephews, Ryan and Dusty, as well as her great-niece, Aleeah. Debbie also leaves behind her sister-in-law, Sharon Robinson, niece Lori Wheeler (Rob), nephew Derrick Robinson (Cary), and great-niece Ireland.
Debbie's life was enriched by the deep friendships she cultivated over the years. Among her dearest friends were Toni Johnson and Carolyn Oldfather, Dan Rossman, Charlie and Cindy Phillips who were family as well.
She is remembered for her deep love of animals, especially her treasured feline companions over the years: Bobby, Trevor, Birdy, Tommy, Ashley, Rovert, Sissy, and Fuzzy.
Debbie's warmth, wit, and unwavering kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her family and friends will continue to cherish the memories of her laughter, her generosity, and the love she poured into every relationship.
A celebration of Debbie's life will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at Bozell Funeral Homes, Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel, 515 East 53rd Street, Anderson, Indiana 46013. Visitation for family and friends will take place from 1:00PM - 2:00PM on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will folow at East Maplewood Cemetery
Debbie's legacy is a reminder that a life well-lived is one filled with love, laughter, and cherished connections. She will forever remain in our hearts.
