De Anna Faye Young, 78, Anderson, passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2017, at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital following an extended illness.She was born on April 16, 1939, in Anderson, Indiana to Neil and Sadie Marie (Leasure).De Anna was graduated from Anderson High School.She retired from Star Financial where she was a vice-president, and helped her husband, Gary, in his chiropractic office.She is survived by two daughters, Ranelle (husband, Randy) Duncan of Texas and Michelle Smith of Albion; five grandchildren Dominic (wife, Kay) Foster, Malcolm Foster, Christopher Harting, Jr., Josephine Harting, and De Anna (husband, Seth) Weldon; six great-grandchildren, Israel, Presley, Victor, Ray-lin, Lilly, and Olivia; and three sisters, Darlene Landon, Janie Thomas, and Jackie Brattain.De Anna was preceded in death by her parents; Sadie (Leasure) McClintick Jaquess Eller and Neil McClintick; her adopted father, James Jaquess; her step-father, Bob Eller; her first husband, Charles Smith; her second husband, Gary Young; and a brother, Jerry Jaquess.A funeral serivce will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, October 7, 2017, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery at a later date.Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Saturday, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, Lapel.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
