David Maxwell

David Maxwell, 72 of Anderson passed away March 1, 2020 at the Community Heart and Vascular Hospital in Indianapolis.
He was born on December 30, 1947 in Anderson to Victor and Vlasta (Maly) Maxwell.
David graduated from Anderson High School in 1966. He also received his apprentice degree in Tool and Die.
David retired from Guide Lamp, division of General Motors after 40 years as a Tool and Die Maker and an Engineer. David travelled to Australia where he and his family lived for five years with General Motors.
David was a member of the Fellowship Masonic Lodge # 681 F. & A. M. in Anderson, Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis, and the York Rite, and the Murat Temple in Indianapolis. David was also a member of the Dive Club in Delaware County.
David is survived by his wife Karen (Holder) Maxwell; children, Brian Maxwell of Anderson, Tracy (Len) Sanders of Anderson; brother, Chuck (Ellyn) Maxwell of New Mexico; two sisters, Cathy (Jim) Scott of Pierceton, Indiana, and Jerri (Dave) Melching of Syracuse, Indiana; grandchildren, Taylar (Zac), Alexa, and Cody; great-grandchildren, Cyon, Astrid, and Bransyn. David was also survived by several nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Hersberger-Bozell Funeral Home, 1010 N. Main St. Lapel, Indiana 46051 with Rev. Don Billey officiating. Burial will follow in East Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson, Indiana
Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, March 6, 2020 at the funeral home.
A Masonic Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 P.M, by the Fellowship Masonic Lodge # 681.
