David Keith Bowers

David Keith Bowers, 63, passed away February 7, 2015 in Anderson after fighting a long battle with cancer.

He was born July 10, 1951, in New Castle to the late David O. & Imogene (Shell) Bowers. He worked at G.M. having retired in 2006.

Keith was an avid sports fan and enjoyed coaching his grandson in sports. He loved spending time with his family.

Keith is survived by his wife, Pam (Glover) Bowers; children, Michelle (husband, Fred) Spinks, Adam (wife, Misty) Bowers, and Megan (Lee Hasty) Bowers; stepson, Jason (Joelle Boothe) Glover; grandchildren, Tristen & Nevaeh Spinks, Madison & Abigail Bowers and Madolyn Glover; brothers, Mark (wife, Vicki) Bowers and Terry (wife, Tavvy) Bowers; sister, Phronzy (husband, Steve) Slocomb; step-mother, Emogene Bowers; friend & neighbor, Sam Layton; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Rimawi, CCU Staff, the girls at the Infusion/Chemo Unit, and the 5th Floor Staff at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital & Hospice, for their care of Keith.

Visitation will be 3:00-5:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 10th, at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory. The visitation will conclude with a time of celebrating Keith’s life by family and friends.
