David G. 'Flano' Flanary

David G. "Flano" Flanary, 68,Lapel, passed away on September 9, 2022, at Community Northview Care Center in Anderson.
He was born April 9, 1954 in Pennsylvania.
He served his country in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Lapel American Legion Post #212.
He retired as a truck driver for Pendleton Truckling and formerly worked for Lapel Trucking.
David is survived by his son, Levon Bomar of Kentucky; his mother, Shirley Stuart; good friend, Henry Hudson; members of the Lapel American Legion Post #212; and many special friends and family.
A memorial service will be held by the Lapel American Legion Post #212 following visitation at noon on Friday, September 16, 2022, at Hersberger-Bozell Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel, Indiana 46051. Military rites will be provided by the Legion at the funeral home.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM at the funeral home.
Cremation will take place.
