David Casanova Chavez

David Casanova Chavez, 40, of Anderson, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at his home in Anderson following an extended illness.

He was born on June 26, 1983, in Toluca, Mexico to Francisco Casanova Arellano and Tomasa Inocencia Rivera Chavez.

He owned and operated a construction business.

He loved his family. He also loved music, soccer and spicy food. His favorite music group was Pluma.

David is survived by his parents; his four children, Aine, Jose, Berenice and Erik; seven sisters; one brother; a special friend, Obdulia Gutierrez; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two brothers.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 1115 Pearl Street, Anderson, Indiana 46016 with Rev. Tom Metzger officiating. Burial will take place at a later date.

Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at the church.
