David Alan Gore

David Alan Gore, 57, Lapel, passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2018, at Community Hospital of Anderson.
He was born on October 13, 1960, in Anderson to Robert and Phyllis (Meredith) Gore.
David loved to work on cars and he always helped others, putting them before himself.
He is survived by a daughter, Heather (Rusty) Dollar; three grandchildren, Mason Whetsel, Tyler Dollar, and Laylah Gore; three brothers, Paul, Timmy, and Bobby Gore; and a sister, Shelly Gore.
David was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Donna (Carter); a son, Jason; and a brother, Roy Meredith.
A funeral will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, September 7, 2018, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
