Darlene Kay "Katie" King, 78, Anderson, passed away Thursday, November 19, 2020, at her Residence in Anderson following an extended illness.She was born on June 11, 1942, in Anderson, Indiana to Everett Seal and Mary (Pack) Seal.Katie was graduated from Lapel High School in 1960.She was a homemaker that was truly loved by her family.Katie was a devoted wife, loving mother that will be truly missed.She is survived by by her husband of 57 years, Thomas King; two children, Scott L. King, Kathy (King) Gerlach and her husband, Rick; three grandchildren, Tommy Hormell, Lindsey Hormell, and Jake King; one great-granddaughter, Sophia Hormell. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews.Darlene was preceded in death by parents, a sister that was devoted to raising Katie, Dorothy (Seal) Etchison; five brothers, Butch, Jack, Jimmy, Norm and Ben.Katies wishes were to be cremated and no formal services will be held at this time.Online Condolences: www.hersbergerbozell.com
