Daniel Jack Keller

Daniel Jack Keller, 75, Lapel, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2018.
He was born on October 22, 1942, in Tacoma, Washington to Everett Wayne and Patricia M. (Coombs) Keller.
Daniel was graduated from Lapel High School in 1960. He received a Bachelors degree from the former Marion College and a Masters degree from Butler University.
He worked as a Wesleyan pastor for 18 years and had also worked at the Pendleton CIS and the Salvation Army social services and was a marriage and family therapist at Turning Points.
Daniels major passion was helping people and he was an avid coin collector.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Marjorie (Rhodus); three children, Mark, Jennifer, and Jason Keller; two grandchildren, Lindsey and Dakota; two great-grandchildren, Braydon and Zariah; one brother, Wayne Keller; and two sisters, Julie Purciful and Pauline Dailey.
Daniel was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Robert and one brother Paul Calvert.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM on Friday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
