Dana Jean Hoffman

Dana Jean (Kane) Hoffman, 60, of Anderson, passed away at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital on August 11, 2018. She was born on June 25, 1958 in Anderson to Walter and Betty (Dobson) Kane. Dana was a 1976 graduate of Anderson High School. She had worked at Star Bank and Surbaugh Realty. She is survived by her husband, Greg Hoffman of Anderson; children, Tim (Amanda) Hoffman of Noblesville, Whitney (Dustin) Allee of Anderson; father, Walter Kane; grandchildren, Keaton and Landon Hoffman, and one on the way; siblings, Sheila (Phil) Sokol, Robin (Jim) Buchenberger, Tim Kane; brother in-laws, Michael (Carolyn) Hoffman, Kyle (Beth) Hoffman; sister in-laws, Mary (Jimmy Stevens) Burge, Melissa (Perry) Allen; several nieces and nephews, and her special four legged companion, Lexi. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty (Dobson) Kane; sister in-laws, Gina Kane, Rachelle Hoffman, and mother in-law, Catherine Hoffman. Services will be on Friday at 10:00 am at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, IN 46013. Burial will be at East Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Per Dana’s wishes, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home for the grandchildren’s college fund.
