Dallas Jerry Dukes

Dallas Jerry Dukes Sr., 76, of Anderson, passed away on April 6, 2020 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital. He was born on August 17, 1943 in Drakesboro, Kentucky to the late Dallas OK and Elizabeth (Wagner) Dukes. Dallas served his country in the US Army. He retired from Delco Remy after 35 years of service. He was a member of the Anderson Eagles and Moose Lodge. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, and playing softball. Dallas is survived by his wife of 55 years, Glenda (Hall) Dukes; children, Cindy Dukes of Indianapolis, Dallas (Jennifer) Dukes Jr. of Tucson, Arizona; five grandchildren; four step grandchildren; one great grandchild; siblings, Charles Dukes, Stevie Dukes, Cleta Decker, Pam Smith, Diane Stone, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Pat Steele, Wayne Dukes, Thomas Dukes, Mary Dukes and Melva Stewart. A Private Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
